"War is an old friend of mine."
Drakthor is an orc male warrior that was born four years prior to the opening of the Dark Portal in Nagrand. Prior to the destruction of Draenor, Drakthor fled with the Warsong clan to Azeroth. When Grommash Hellscream freed the orcs, Drakthor left the Warsong clan and eventually joined Thrall's new Horde under a new clan banner: the Darkblade. During the Battle of Mount Hyjal, Drakthor slew countless demons, earning the title Demonbane.
When Horde and Alliance forces ventured to Northrend, Drakthor was stationed at a camp in the Howling Fjord, which was at some point ambushed by vrykul, leaving Drakthor as the only survivor. He proceeded to join the Horde army at Angrathar the Wrathgate, and he became one of the only survivors of the battle that ensued, with the aid of an unlikely friend, Drasgar Emsworth.
Prior to the Siege of Orgrimmar, and following Vol'jin's revolution, Drakthor began to see the faults in Garrosh Hellscream's leadership, and openly defied him. This resulted in a majority of the Darkblade clan being wiped out by Garrosh and his Kor'kron. Drakthor was captured for some time, until he was freed by the troll rogue Jerte. Drakthor joined the revolution, and participated in the Siege of Orgrimmar until being wounded during the encounter with Malkorok, after which he was withdrawn in order to recover.
Drakthor was among those that were sent through the Dark Portal to the alternate Draenor to combat the Iron Horde, and following the Assault on the Dark Portal he established Frostwall in Frostfire Ridge. Once the Horde had established a foothold on Draenor, Drakthor went on to lead them in battle against the Iron Horde, and eventually commanded the Horde forces in the Assautl on Tanaan Jungle. At some point during the campaign there, Drakthor was presumed killed by a group of demons during a valiant battle, however he was revealed to be alive when he showed up at the Black Gate to confront Archimonde.
When the Burning Legion invaded Azeroth for a third time, Drakthor was a part of the force sent to the Broken Shore. Following this massacre, Drakthor returned to the Broken Shore alongside Varok Saurfang, where he confronted the pit lord Malgalor alongside a band of vrykul warriors. As the last one standing, Drakthor slew the demon, but died in the ensuing explosion. He was risen again, however, by the valkyr, and came into Odyn's service as a member of the Valarjar, and proceeded to take up the Warswords of the Valarjar.
